Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) plans to make its campuses 100 percent smoke- and tobacco-free by Fall 2016, thanks to a $5,000 grant from Legacy. Legacy is the organization responsible for the national “truth” smoking prevention campaign. Through the grant, CCTC plans to encourage students, faculty and administrators to adopt the 100 percent smoke- and tobacco-free policy, according to a press release from the college.
