Celebrating Camden
CMS Mural
Camden Middle School (CMS) students put the finishing touches on a mural along the school’s main entrance hallway celebrating their hometown’s history and culture on May 6. The students did the bulk of the work, guided by artist-in-residence Russ Petty (working near the image of Larry Doby’s statue near the left end of the mural) and CMS art teacher Keith Tolen. The mural connects many of Camden’s most notable features including The Price House, Kershaw-Cornwallis House, Rectory Square, Kendall Mill and the city’s greenspaces.
