Thanks to a new partnership with Benedict College, Camden High School (CHS) students are creating a successful foundation for their college career. CHS recently became affiliated with Benedict’s Upward Bound program which, according to its website, is committed to fostering the necessary academic and social skills to prepare students to compete in a global society. Kimberly Dawes, school counselor at CHS, said Benedict’s Carolyn Pouncy contacted CHS Principal Dan Matthews and presented the Upward Bound program.
