CLC shows off student art
CLC Art 1
Kershaw County Council Chairman Julian Burns (right) points to a piece of artwork at the Continuous Learning Center (CLC) during a discussion with (from left) CLC Artist in Residence Bill Hicks and CLC Director Casey Faulkenberry. The art was displayed during a special meet and greet on June 8.
Just before the end of the school year, Kershaw County School District’s Continuous Learning Center (CLC) Artist in Residence Bill Hicks worked with students, teaching them art types and techniques. Hicks’ time at CLC was funded by an S.C. Arts Commission artist in residence grant obtained by CLC Special Projects Coordinator Kim Stokes.
