CMS Student Council members, along with their lead teacher Mrs. Alison Lopez, worked hard this year to raise money for the school and community, including the proposed Kershaw County West Playground Project. Students held several fundraisers to help support different activities at the school and for other arenas, including for the playground. At one student council meeting in February, after fundraising efforts were complete, students voted on helping the project by purchasing some swings and a “talking tunnel.”
