With the expansion of its Kershaw County campus earlier this year, Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) has been able to increase course offerings in the industrial engineering and technology division. In addition to a welding certificate, this fall, students were also able to choose to enroll and complete the following programs: Basic Mechatronics Certificate, Advanced Mechatronics Certificate and Associate Degree in Engineering Design Technology. The addition of these programs diversifies the available training for the residents of Kershaw County and offers students a variety of career options without the need to travel outside of their community.
