Eight hundred KCSD students to enjoy read-in

Camden’s Zemp Football Stadium will be filled with 800 Kershaw County School District students today, but books will replace footballs in student’s hands as part of the first-ever Kershaw County Read-In. “We are excited to have our first Read-In to celebrate the importance of reading,” CHS Librarian Laura Horton, who organized the program, said. “We based our event on a similar one that takes place each spring at the Statehouse with students from across South Carolina.
