Blaney Elementary School (BES) recently celebrated the naming of its 2022-23 Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Person of the Year. The Teacher of the Year is 5th Grade Teacher (left photo, second from left). “We are thrilled that Mr. Hunt will represent our school next school year and know that he will carry on the torch with great pride,” said BES Principal Nicole Kirkley (far left). They are joined by BES Asst. Principal Harriett Boykin-Garity (center), 2021-22 BES Teacher of the Year Megan Latter, and BES Asst. Administrator Aleece Hardy.
