Jackson School students will be “getting their hands dirty” this school year as they plant and maintain their own school garden. One of 46 schools in the state to receive a $5,000 Farm to School grant, every Jackson student will participate in the yearlong program to learn more about agriculture and nutrition. “The theme at Jackson School is Growing Leaders, and this year we are extremely excited about the addition of our ‘Green and Growing Garden,’” said Jackson School Principal Matia Goodwin.
