Amanda Harris received the final rose. The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) named Harris, a 4th grade teacher at Jackson School, its 2014-15 Teacher of the Year during its annual gala at Camden High School (CHS) on Monday evening. The district and Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce, which co-sponsored the event with the Kershaw County Teachers Forum, used a take-off of “The Bachelor” television series to present roses to the teachers of the year from each school, including Harris and five other Honor Roll teachers of the year.
