Junior Leaders 2010-11
Program graduates urged to 'change the world'
Jr. Leadership
Graduates of the Junior Leadership Kershaw County Class of 2010-11 were honored during the programs annual graduation dinner. The students, representing Camden, North Central and Lugoff-Elgin high schools, as well as Camden Military Academy, received plaques for completing the year-long program, which included a trip to the S.C. State House where they met with elected officials.
What kind of legacy will you leave behind? That’s what keynote speaker Katherine Swartz asked the Junior Leadership Class of 2010-11 to think about during the group’s graduation dinner April 28. Standing in front of the students and their families in the Robert Mills Courthouse, the executive director of Leadership Columbia told the students to not only find balance between work and family, but to also consider how they can leave behind a legacy that will help future generations.
