KCSD to demolish old Camden Elementary School
CES - Front Entrance
The front entrance to the former Camden Elementary School building on Lyttleton Street, seen over the top of a chain link fence covered with a green screen. The Kershaw County School District had the screened fence -- which wraps around most of the property -- erected during the last week as it prepares to demolish the former school. District officials said the process would take about 10 to 12 weeks and that the property would be sold “to the highest bidder” afterward. (Martin L. Cahn/C-I)
A green fence covered with a green screen has been placed all the way around the old Camden Elementary School building at the corner of Lyttleton and Laurens streets, a sign the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) confirms the former school will be torn down soon.
