KCSD finalizing new school transitions

Students and teachers of Camden, Lugoff and Wateree Elementary Schools are expecting to start the second half of the school year in brand-new buildings when they return from Christmas break on Jan. 7. So, with three new schools rapidly approaching completion, the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) is working to finalize plans to make the transitions to new facilities as seamless as possible. Billy Smith, KCSD Operations Director and Eddie Rodelsperger of Pike-McFarland-Hall Consultants, gave a brief update on the progress of this during the Kershaw County Board of School Trustees during the board’s meeting Tuesday.
