Libraries in Kershaw County school’s may be enhanced in the near future thanks to the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) having about $500,000 left over from its 2014-15 school year. KCSD Chief Financial Officer Donnie Wilson said the savings came in part from a flexibility proviso the Kershaw County Board of School Trustees approved during a recent meeting. “Some of the flexibility money that we’ve had available to us in the last years (from the state), they’re kind of phasing that flexibility proviso out,” Wilson told the board during its meeting Tuesday night at Lugoff Elementary School.
