KCSD makes progress on deferred projects

Despite a rainy summer, the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) was able to make progress in completing some of their deferred maintenance projects. At the beginning of the new fiscal year, July 1, the district designated $500,000 to completing the projects. The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees asked Kershaw County Council for money to make the various upgrades in 2012, but was denied, so the school district had to delay the projects for one year.
