KCSD ready to end year
Monday is school day; half-days May 29 and 30

The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) has announced its end-of-year schedule. Parents should note that there are no more school holidays between now and the end of the school year.  Monday, May 26 is a regular school day to make up a day missed earlier in the school year for inclement weather. 

KCSD will have half days for students on May 29 and 30, the last two days of student attendance for this school year.  Three-year-old and four-year-old students will not attend on those two days.  School lunches will be served to students, and teachers and staff will work regular hours on May 29 and 30.  Early dismissal on the last two days facilitates high school exam schedules and records completion at all schools. 

High school graduation will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 31 at all three of the district’s high schools: Camden High School, Lugoff-Elgin High School and North Central High School.  This is a Records Day for KCSD employees. 

Dismissal times for students on May 29 and May 30 will vary from school to school due to bus routing:

• ATEC – 11 a.m.

• Baron DeKalb Elementary – 11 a.m.

• Bethune Elementary – 11 a.m.

• Blaney Elementary – 11 a.m.

• Camden Elementary – 11 a.m.

• Camden High – 11:20 a.m.

• Camden Middle – 11:20 a.m.

• Continuous Learning Center – 11 a.m. (North Central area pick up), 11:15 a.m. (Lugoff area pick up) and 11:30 a.m. (Camden area pick up)

• Doby’s Mill Elementary – 11 a.m.

• Jackson School – 11 a.m.

• Leslie M. Stover Middle – 11:15 a.m.

• Lugoff Elementary – 11:15 a.m.

• Lugoff-Elgin High – 11:30 a.m.

• Lugoff-Elgin Middle – 11:15 a.m.

• Midway Elementary – 11 a.m.

• Mt. Pisgah Elementary – 11 a.m.

• North Central High – 11:30 a.m.

• North Central Middle – 11:15 a.m.

• Pine Tree Hill Elementary – 11 a.m.
