The Kershaw County (KC) Robotics team -- comprised of 10 local high school students -- was ranked 9th out of 65 teams overall in the FIRST(For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) First Robotics Competition, Ultimate Ascent, in Myrtle Beach, earlier this month. “This is fantastic news,” said Kershaw County School District Superintendent Frank Morgan. “Our students participated against teams with more members and much greater resources and still came out on top.
