Kershaw County School District has received a US Department of Education grant of close to $400,000 to expand its counseling services for elementary and middle school students. "School counseling services play a critical role in the well-being and safety of our students," said Kershaw County School District Superintendent Frank Morgan. "These funds will help us decrease our elementary guidance counselor to student ratio as well as allow us to provide social work services for our younger students.
