Clyburn and Blackmon SCSBA Award

Kershaw County Board of School Trustees members Coach Ron Blackmon (Seat 9) and Louis Clyburn (Seat 3) recently earned certificates of achievement for obtaining Level Two status in the S.C. School Boards Association’s (SCSBA) Boardmanship Institute Training Program.

The program provides training opportunities for school board members from across South Carolina to enhance their skills in becoming more effective while earning points to advance their Boardmanship Institute Training certification.

SCSBA President Elizabeth Branham presented Clyburn and Blackmon with their certificates during their recent participation in SCSBA’s law conference. Also in attendance at the conference were Shirley Halley (Seat 4) and Nissary F. Wood (Seat 2).
