When a person’s heart stops beating, seconds count. That’s why the American Red Cross is conducting a series of “hands only” cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes in middle schools throughout Kershaw County so students will know what to do to help save a life. The classes are made possible by a grant provided by Covidien, a healthcare products manufacturer on Hampton Street in Camden.
