L-EHS dance team gets national competition bid

The Lugoff-Elgin High School Dance Team is headed to a national competition in Orlando, Fla., and a performance at the Citrus Bowl. Lugoff-Elgin High School’s (L-EHS) dance team qualified for a bid to the National Dance Alliance national competition and received an invitation to perform at the Citrus Bowl at a NDA camp this week. In a Kershaw County School District press release, L-EHS dance instructor Lindsay Alexander said that, along with two group awards, many of the dancers earned individual ribbons and certificates, including Tyrese Neale, who was named an All-American dancer. “I am so proud of them for their recognition, but most happy about the way they came together as a team to make this happen.
