Influenced by Military Appreciation Day, Lugoff-Elgin High School (L-EHS) administrators and guidance counselors decided to offer a way for students, faculty and staff to honor the military in an ongoing effort. Students raised funds for the Wounded Warrior Project and wrote letters of appreciation to active military in order to honor them for bravely fighting for the safety and freedom of American citizens. “We are trying to show students why they should be appreciative,” L-EHS Principal Worth Thomasson said.
