For their National Honor Society (NHS) project in February, four Lugoff-Elgin High School students delivered bottled water; Gatorade; granola bars; chewing gum; and crackers and snacks and candy to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office. The students made individual bags containing these items to hand out to deputies. The NHS sponsors this program as a way for students to give back to the community and to honor law enforcement and firefighters.
