Local schools 'make the grade'
KCSD outperforms state average

For the first time since implementation of the state report cards in 2001, 100 percent of the Absolute ratings issued for the Kershaw County School District and all of its schools are Excellent, Good or Average. Statewide, 85 percent of high schools achieved this level for Absolute ratings and 82 percent for elementary and middle schools. “I am extremely pleased to see this high level of achievement across all of our schools,” said Kershaw County School District Superintendent Frank Morgan.
