Local students graduate from SCGS summer programs

Five Kershaw County students graduated July 21 from the S.C. Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities’ summer programs. Caleb Arledge and Cameron Messindes, both from Camden High School, attended the Governor’s School’s Summer Academy program, focusing on creative writing. Summer Academy is a two-week program for rising 10th graders with intensive study in creative writing, drama, music or visual arts.
