Tuesday, Nov. 20 was a different day for students across the Kershaw County School District (KCSD), including some of the county’s youngest at Jackson School in east Camden. In staggered, two-hour cycles, teachers switched classrooms, not to interact with different students, but to communicate with their own from other locations in the building. Students could ask questions and even chat with their teachers, but only through their district-issued laptops or other internet-enabled devices.
