New KCSD tech plan to be five-year guide

The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) technology plan includes five sections that address students, professional development, instruction, communications and technical support -- guidelines that KCSD Director for Technology Phyllis David said the school district will look toward during the next five years. During last week’s Kershaw County Board of School Trustees meeting, David presented the board with an overview of the district’s blueprint for technology. But one thing worth noting, said KCSD Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan before the discussion began, is that the school district does not receive any funding for technology.
