In this screen capture from the YouTube livestream of Tuesday’s Kershaw County Board of Trustees meeting, members vote unanimously to postpone the start of the school year for students until Sept. 8 as Kershaw County School District Executive Director for Community Relations Mary Anne Byrd looks on. Families will be able to choose from any of the three instructional options for the school year: in-person classroom at their school, eCampus live, and eCampus recorded.
At its meeting Tuesday, the Kershaw County Board of School Trustees unanimously approved a 2020-21 school calendar that makes Sept. 8, the day after Labor Day, the start date for students to return to school.
