Nine teachers earn national certification

Nine Kershaw County educators have been recertified with the highest credential available in the teaching profession, bringing the total number of Kershaw County School District (KCSD) employees who are National Board Certified to 101.“National Board certification is a great accomplishment,” KCSD Superintendent Shane Robbins said. “I’m pleased to see these educators continue to be recognized on a national level for this achievement.” Newly National Board Recertified KCSD teachers are Anna Harvley, ATEC; Tracy Bell, Jackson School; Pam Britton and Katie Munn, Lugoff Elementary; Robert Blinkhorn, Kevin Knoerr, Karen McAvoy and Jenny Proctor, Lugoff-Elgin High; and Kristi McKenzie-Amundson, North Central High.
