On 7-2 vote, school board goes for second referenda

Kershaw County residents will have another chance to vote on a pair of school construction-related referenda in November 2016. Exactly what form those referenda will take is yet to be seen. The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees voted, 7-2, Tuesday evening to move forward with developing a new set of referenda for the 2016 general election, which would include an undetermined amount of bonds tied to another attempt to pass a penny sales tax to pay for those bonds.
