PTHS chosen for Title I honor

Pine Tree Hill Elementary School is one of three schools statewide to be honored by the South Carolina Association of Title I Administrators for closing the achievement gap. Of the more than 500 Title I schools in South Carolina, Pine Tree Hill ranked in the top three in improving student achievement among students who have historically scored lower than their peers. “This award is a tremendous distinction for a Title I school,” said Kershaw County School District Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan.
