The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees will vote tonight on a possible referendum, which facility projects should be on the referendum and whether or not to use a 1-cent sales tax to pay for the projects. Kershaw County School District (KCSD) Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan and Director of Operations Billy Smith will present information about the potential referendum, projects and tax to the board during tonight’s meeting, set for 6 p.m. at Midway Elementary School. However, according to a copy of the agenda, Morgan and Smith will only recommend trustees take action, but not what specific action to take.
