Resolution recognizes CHS as Palmettos Finest
CHS Resolution with Matthews
Sen. Vincent Sheheen and Rep. Laurie Slade Funderburk presented Camden High School Principal Dan Matthews, staff and students with a framed resolution from the S.C. General Assembly recognizing the school’s selection as a prestigious 2014 Palmetto’s Finest award winner. The resolution noted that judges from the S.C. Association of School Administrators were impressed to see that the school’s test scores are at an all-time high, and that the school contributes time and resources to its community including more than $100,000 and 5,000 service hours to local charities this school year. Camden High School was one of five schools in the state selected for the award this year and the only high school.
