The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees will support three main legislative positions to be taken up at the state level during the 2017 session of the S.C. General Assembly. KCSD Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan gave the board a brief update regarding these positions during Tuesday night’s board meeting at the Kershaw County School District offices. Basically, the three points education officials will push at the state level have to do with funding, changing the calendar/school start date and notification of changes in tax valuation.
