School board continues referenda discussion

At its March 3 meeting, the Kershaw County Board of School Trustees heard a presentation from County Planner Carolyn Hammond on the pending build-out of more than 2,100 residential lots, nearly all in the West Wateree. Seventeen hundred of those lots would be in one subdivision called Coldbranch. Hammond’s presentation dovetailed into one from Kershaw County School District (KCSD) Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan on a draft timeline for trustees to consider bringing a pair of construction and sales tax related referenda back to voters in November 2016.
