School board recognizes student, school achievement

The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees recognized achievements of students and schools alike during Tuesday’s meeting at the Kershaw County School District offices. The board honored ten Kershaw County Schools for their achievements in earning Palmetto Gold and Silver award recognition. The awards are part of a prestigious state program that recognizes significant achievement in academics and in closing achievement gaps.
