School board to consider policy changes

The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees will consider several changes to Kershaw County School District (KCSD) policies during its meeting scheduled for today at 6 p.m. The first matter proposes a change to Policy ICHA, regarding summer school. Specifically, it would allow the district to charge summer school fees on a prorated basis in terms of eligibility for free and reduced price meals. According to a notation in tonight’s proposed agenda, this is the same type of fee schedule the district uses for an incidental fee charged to students.
