School board to continue facilities discussion

Facility needs will once again be the subject of discussion during a Kershaw County Board of School Trustees meeting tonight. Trustees, using information compiled from their own Oct. 20 reports of a series of public feedback meetings on facilities, will likely begin prioritizing those needs and, possibly, begin discussing exactly how to fund any projects. The board and Kershaw County School District placed two referenda on the November 2014 ballot -- one for $130 million in construction projects, the other to offset potential millage increases via a penny sales tax.
