One day, members of the Kershaw County Board of School Trustees could participate in meetings without having to be physically present. The board will discuss the possibility of creating a policy to allow trustees to do so during its meeting Tuesday. The board will review a policy in place in Rock Hill School District 3 (RHSD 3) which allows its trustees to participate by electronic or other means -- such as telephone or video teleconferencing -- but only in “exceptional circumstances.”
