The Kershaw County School District’s (KCSD) 2011-12 budget is “much more favorable than expected.” That’s what KCSD Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan told members of the Kershaw County Board of School Trustees at its Tuesday evening meeting. The school district’s budget for next year will total $61.3 million, which is a 2.3 percent increase as compared to the current year’s budget.
