The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees will vote tonight on whether to approve having the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) convey a 6.6-acre tract of land next to the Jackson Teen Center on York Street for additional recreational development. The property is situated to the east of the teen center, across from Camden High School and across Gordon Street from the new Tennis Center of Camden. Trustees first heard about the potential transfer during its Jan. 30 finance/facilities committee meeting.
