All Kershaw County School District students and parents -- both new and returning -- should plan to attend registration at their children’s schools in July. All elementary and middle schools will register students on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. For high schools, the following schedule applies from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m.: • Camden High: July 24-25 (all grades both days) • Continuous Learning Center: July 24 (all grades) • Lugoff-Elgin High: July 24 (grades 9-12, last name beginning with A-K); July 25 (grades 9-12, last name beginning with L-Z) • North Central High: July 24 (grades 9-10); July 25 (grades 11-12) A change this school year is that parents of SEAGUL students will register them for the district’s elementary/middle gifted and talented program during this summer registration; there will not be a separate SEAGUL registration. “We continue to streamline the paperwork process for our school registration dates,” said Kershaw County School District Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan.
