In 2008, there were more than 800 school bus disciplinary violations on Kershaw County School District buses. Kevin Rhodes, administrator of the Kershaw County School District’s (KCSD) Safe Schools/Healthy Students (SSHS) grant, wants to reduce that number by more than 10 percent. He said he hopes to do that through recently installed SSHS grant-funded digital bus cameras.
