State testing update on school board agenda tonight

The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees will get an overview of how the state’s student testing program has changed during the last 10 years, including a look at how students are being assessed in the current school year. In addition, trustees will receive a report on issues impacting the 2016-17 school year budget; they will receive a preliminary budget at their April 5 meeting. Kershaw County School District Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan will also provide an update on state legislation impacting K-12 education.
