Students at Doby’s Mill Elementary School (DMES) can now enjoy an outdoor library space and have money for new library books, thanks to the Target Distribution Center in Lugoff. Several Target Distribution Center employees unveiled the school’s reading lab Friday, and presented DMES Principal Ginger Catoe and Media Specialist Betsy Long with a $500 check to purchase new library books. Target also donated a $100 gift card to the school for the purchase of supplies for its upcoming seventh annual Race to Read 5K run.
