If the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) receives a millage increase, KCSD teachers may see a reduction in the number of furlough days next year. That’s what KCSD Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan told the Kershaw County Board of School Trustees Thursday, in response to a question regarding whether or not anything could be added back to next year’s budget if Kershaw County Council enacted a millage increase. In the preliminary 2011-12 budget, Morgan said, he assumed there would be no additional local funding.
