Trustees hear possible school construction bond scenario

A bond issue of $106.47 million and a penny sales tax to offset a potential increase in property millage. The combination sounds very much like what the Kershaw County Board of School Trustees and the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) asked voters to approve in November 2014. Voters rejected two referenda authorizing the issue of $130 million in bonds and the levy of a 1-cent sales tax.
