Trustees reelect Smith, Halley as chair, vice chair

Kershaw County Board of School Trustees Chairman Dr. James Smith is the first to sign an Ethical Principles document during the board’s Tuesday morning meeting. Waiting to sign the document as well are (from left) trustees Ron Blackmon, Kim DuRant, Mark Sury, Vice Chair and Chaplain Shirley Halley, Matt Irick, Todd McDonald, and Dr. Don Copley. Also during the meeting, trustees reelected Smith and Halley to their positions as chair and vice chair/chaplain, and recognized DuRant and Copley for their 20 and 10 years, respectively, of service on the board.
