Trustees review public feedback on facilities

North Central area residents of Kershaw County feel as though they’ve been overlooked and want to keep their small, community schools open. People living in the Camden and Lugoff-Elgin areas want the Applied Technology Education Campus (ATEC) moved to a proposed joint economic development campus with Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC). Those were among some of the differences members of the Kershaw County Board of Trustees reported they found during a series of public feedback meetings on facilities held during the last six weeks across the county.
