The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) may send a letter to the city of Camden opting out of the city’s plan to create a tax increment financing (TIF) district. The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees will vote at its next meeting on a recommendation to forgo inclusion in the TIF district proposal from KCSD Chief Financial Officer Donnie Wilson. Wilson made the recommendation during a KCSD facilities and finance meeting Tuesday afternoon.
